Hospice Volunteers
Giving back when it matters most

In offering comfort and support for patients and families through life’s final transition, AgeRight Hospice volunteers are vital. If you feel called to give back to others when the moments are most precious, there are few volunteer opportunities more deeply rewarding.

As a patient care volunteer with AgeRight Hospice, your contribution could be as simple as reading to patients, taking walks, swapping stories or providing respite for exhausted family members. As an administrative volunteer, your clerical skills would be invaluable in helping office staff perform hospice support functions.

To be an AgeRight Hospice volunteer, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Complete initial screening with our volunteer coordinator
  • Pass a background check
  • Complete our extensive training program to prepare you for working with patients and families at their most valuable time
